Hi Joy! Thank you a a beautiful blog this afternoon. Being a veteran my self it's very nice of you. I was in Vietnam 1968 and 1969 where I had my 21st birthday lots of fun lol. Butch

Is that the cenotaph at your local church? Remembrance Day in our schools is always a major event. At least the kids learn to remember that soldiers, airmen and sailors gave their lives for a worthy cause. In the schools where I was Principal, we had all grades involved in various activities of remembrance, then had a service the last hour of school before Nov 11. Many of the public usually attended.

I will never forget My Dad never wanted to talk about his tour in England from '43 to '46!

We shall not forget the service and sacrifice of our soldiers.

We owe them so much. I am honored to be asked, to place a wreath to honor them Thursday Nov. 11.

When some just see them as holidays, then they have forgotten. But I’m sure many do remember the sacrifices. Veterans Day here in the U.S. Nice post my friend! 🎖🎗🇺🇸🇨🇦 Funny women are incredibly sexy!

I have family past and present in the military. They do so much for us! I will never forget. I love the last toon. Definitely a SUPER man! Hugs!

I watched the film 'Journeys End' last night ( about the last German spring offensive of WW1) It left me wondering if their sacrifice achieved much in the context 'Of A War To End Wars' and how many potential uncles and aunts we have never known. xoxo
